    Known as magic plants for newbies in organic farming, mushrooms have been found to only require a cool, dark place, spores, and sawdust to successfully thrive in a garden. Now, if uncooperative weather , poor soil, and pests are keeping your veggies from flourishing, take those variables out of the equation.  Start growing bean sprouts which only call for a jar, some beans, and a dark, cool spot (like the ‘shrooms).

  3. Rhubarb and Mint.

    The hardier a plant is – the better! For instance, rhubarb plant may have poisonous leaves but its stems are tart and flavorsome. Besides, it’s easy to grow and be found thriving well even without outside influence at all. Similar thing could actually be said for mint. Under ideal conditions, this plant can also grow well without human intervention, and will even constantly pop up year after year.

    Like most leafy plants, basil can flourish well both indoors and out. This sweet-leafed herb is capable of responding well to pot life and to a garden spot. Garlic also does splendidly even in the absence of a gardener’s care. Besides, it is used as a natural fungicide and pesticide by many experienced organic gardeners.

  5. Rosemary and Fennel.

    Rosemary is a rather delicate herb once it’s been harvested. But in the pot, it performs quite exceptionally. Like most herbs, this plant only needs access to sunshine and basic watering. Fennel likewise is not a demanding plant. It is easy to grow and is popular addition to organic gardens since it tends to attract ladybugs that serve as natural predators of some garden pests.

    Radishes are among those really great crops known to be forgiving of poor watering and imperfect weather conditions.
